We are a grass-roots not-for-profit organisation dedicated to creating and delivering unique, gritty theatre performances, digital creative experiences, & drama based learning programs which explore pertinent, social issues.
Based within the North West, we work all over the UK and the EU within the community and custodial sector, including prisons, probation centres and drug rehab facilities to engage with people with fewer opportunities.
With our experienced team of artists, we use theatre and creative practices to give people with fewer opportunities a voice, tackling issues at the forefront of the social and economic climate by delivering hard hitting theatre with an unparalleled realism – our trade mark. It is this unique delivery which provokes real reflection, discussion and genuine potential for positive change.
Our vision is to help to build a safer, fairer society, in which everyone has the opportunity to appreciate and realise their own personal potential
Founded by Actor-Producer Rachel Worsley, NPP's leading directors and artists have worked together artistically for over 12 years, and collectively have over 50 years experience delivering theatre and creative projects within challenging settings.
Our Core Values –
INCLUSION – everyone has something valuable to contribute, and should be given the chance to do so – regardless of circumstance
QUALITY – We commit to guaranteeing artistic and professional excellence in all areas of our organisation and project delivery, to uphold our mission and achieve our vision.
RESPECT – We commit to valuing the life experiences of people who engage with us. We never preach, but rather come from a place of sharing and common understanding to find a positive outcome together, creating a trusting, understanding and valued relationship.
INSPIRATION – We commit to use creativity as a tool to encourage a sense of investment, self-worth and value amongst our audiences. We commit to encourage and inspire people to recognise their own potential, whatever that may be, to take steps towards a more positive, fulfilling future.
CO-PRODUCTION – we work in meaningful partnership with people who engage with our projects at every stage of project development, delivery & evaluation.

“I think whatever I say would be an understatement. The whole experience just blew me away. I felt the professionalism was first class. If anybody is considering working with No Place, I would say do it. You will regret it if you don’t.”
-David Mckalley; Learning Support Officer; HMP Altcourse
“This really hit home. Although prison tries on many levels to make offenders empathise with others and show compassion, nothing could really compare to the visual impact your work has. Thank you.”
-Inmate; HMP Garth
"...the effect you all have had is nothing less than a life changing experience...." -Together participant, HMP Garth
